Chris-Craft Introduces New Catalina 31 at Palm Beach Boat Show
The newest Chris-Craft offering in the Catalina line showcases modern design, enhanced comfort, and innovative features
Sarasota, FL – March 14, 2025 – Chris-Craft, America’s Boatbuilder Since 1874, will introduce its latest innovation, the Catalina 31, in a world debut at the Palm Beach Boat Show, taking place from March 19-23. This redesigned model builds on the iconic Catalina 30, featuring modern upgrades and thoughtful design enhancements that elevates both style and functionality.
The Catalina 31 features a newly designed hardtop for the standard pilothouse top, providing improved aesthetics and functionality. The spacious bow area is designed for socializing and relaxation, featuring our premium cool touch upholstery with comfortable wrap-around seating, thick cushions, integrated drink holder pockets with accent lighting, and inductive chargers. The audio system has been elevated with additional speakers and amplifiers to add to the entertaining environment.
The model features an all new electrical and control system, integrating the latest CZone digital switching system, advanced control battery management and remote access features. All these features are controlled though our exclusive Chris Craft user interface. To extend the day on the water, the Catalina 31 features the latest variable speed air conditioning and heat systems powered by Lithionics lithium-ion batteries.
Additional interior enhancements include all-new teak accent helm seats with high-gloss back accents, upgraded stainless steel bolster hinges and armrests, and custom foam packs for enhanced comfort. The finely detailed stitching and wave quilting add a touch of sophistication. The standard synthetic teak, extending from bow to stern, ensures durability and low maintenance.
For the captain and crew, thoughtful storage features have been included in the new design. These include dedicated storage drawers at the helm, a washdown hose cabinet, tip out trash can and added storage in the cabin.
Its spacious swim platform includes updated rigging, eliminates the motor well, and enhances access to the water. A new dive door design offers a simple hinged design, for making getting off and on the boat seamless.
“Every boat we design and manufacture takes into mind our family of boat owners and future owners; the Catalina 31 was created with enhancements that we know our owners will greatly enjoy,” said Ron Berman, Vice President, Engineering, Chris-Craft. “Building
upon our reputation of classic elegance, design excellence, and exceptional craftsmanship, the Catalina 31 is an exciting new addition to our portfolio.”
The Catalina 31 will be on display at Land Display #1094 during the Palm Beach Boat Show. Members of the press are invited to stop by the booth and to meet the Chris-Craft team and experience the model firsthand. For more information about the Catalina 31 from Chris-Craft, visit www.chriscraft.com.
